Duriel Harrris
A poet/performer, sound artist and scholar, Harris is a member of Douglas Ewart and Inventions free jazz ensemble and co-founder of Black Took Collective. Her current projects include the AMNESIAC media art project and “Thingification,” a solo play in one act.

SPIN Brighter Days Music was first performed at the 2014 Call & Response Symposium at Antioch College, where Experiments in Joy was announced. Responses to Experiments in Joy were also featured in Obsidian’s fall 2015 special issue. Black artists and allies are invited to participate in this ongoing collaborative creative-critical arts practice, sharing reflections and artworks towards shared joy and our collaborative creation of the worlds we inhabit—and the worlds that inhabit us.
